professionals across Australia and New Zealand, with international relationships

History

Scott Winton was founded in 1992 by the late Ron Tatarka, an industry veteran who established a firm that did things differently.

Ron believed strongly in relationships, integrity and doing what was right for the client. He built Scott Winton around understanding each client, earning their trust and being there when they needed us most. Those principles remain at the heart of the business today.

Central to Ron’s philosophy was a three way partnership between the client, the broker and the insurer, built on trust and communication. He was also committed to giving back to the community and creating a workplace where people could grow and build long term careers.

Following Ron's passing, his son Avi Tatarka, an award winning broker in his own right, led Scott Winton through a significant period of growth, building on his father's foundations and values while expanding the business and its capabilities.

Scott Winton continues to grow as an established business in its own right, while remaining true to its founding values.
